Travel Information

The most convenient way to get to São Bernado do Campo from other cities and outside Brazil is to fly from your city/country to São Paulo. São Bernardo do Campo is located just 10 Km from São Paulo city center and belongs to the metropolitan area called "Great São Paulo" (for more information, please, visit Location site)

São Paulo Airports

São Paulo has two airports: Guarulhos (GRU) and Congonhas (CGH). International and some direct flights from other cities in Brazil arrive in Guarulhos Airport while most domestic flights arrive in Congonhas.  The GRU airport is located in Guarulhos, a city near to São Paulo and in the north side of the Metropolitan area. This airport is far from São Bernardo do Campo. It is about 1 hour of car travelling crossing the entire metropolitan area.

The CGH airport is in São Paulo city near to south side of metropolitan area. It is closer to São Bernardo do Campo than GRU airport.

Some air companies are considering the Campinas Airport (CPQ or VCP) as an option to fly to São Paulo. However, this airport is really far from São Paulo city. It is about 100Km far from the entrance of the metropolitan area. Sometimes with low fare flights, CPQ-VCP airport would be a good choice only if  the  flight company offer free transfer to São Paulo. Otherwise, it is not a good option. If you decide to go to CPQ airport, be aware that the travel will take one hour more at least.
