SBRN History

The Brazilian Symposium on Neural network (SBRN) has been held since 1994, when Caxambu hosted the first SBRN event.

From 1994, the SBRN happened every year until 1998 when became biannual. In 1995 the event was accomplished in São Carlos, followed by Recife in 1996 and Goiânia in 1997. The last annual event was held in Belo Horizonte.

In 2000, the event happened in Rio de Janeiro and in 2002 the event jointed with SBIA in Porto de Galinhas. Since 2002, every SBRN event held with SBIA. Since 1997, the Proceedings of SBRN has been published by CPS reaching international acknowledgments.
